Claire got to spend the night with Grandma. Here are a few pictures. Claire wishes everyone a Happy New Year.
We had a chance to go to South Coast Plaza to get a photo taken with Santa. Every year, South Coast Plaza sets up what is known as Santa's Village in the middle of the mall.
There's a carousel and a photo opportunity with Santa that serves as a way to lure shoppers to all the kid oriented stores nearby like Baby Gap, Legos, The Disney Store and other stores.
The trick to surviving this trip is to go as early as possible. Prices are okay and you can buy different packages with a professional photograph or you can take your own with your own camera, or both. Prints are available on the spot and you can also get a digital version on CD.
Right after you are finished with the photo, you can jump on the carousel for a few minutes of fun. Claire loved the whole experience because it was all new to me. Well, let me rephrase that, she loved the whole thing except getting her photo taken with Santa Claus. She was not a happy camper.
We're still gathering photos from mom's camera, grandma's camera and getting our "official" photo scanned in to show you, but in the meantime check out these little videoclips. We really had a blast! I recommend you check out the place if you're in Orange County and have kids.

Claire got a chance to hangout with all her friends!
The pumpkin Patch and farm tours at Tanaka Farms are great and as you can see, they provide tons of photo ops.
I've just updated some of the photo albums. If you want to check them out, head over to the photos section to browse. And don't forget to email me any photos you want to share of Claire.
